One of the simplest remedies that requires one to have a strong sense of imagination in order to make it more effective is the one referred to by psychiatrists as Imagery.

First of all, imagine yourself as standing in front of the mirror. Now visualize your image and tell yourself how ugly you look as you frown and scowl in anger. Perhaps the thought of looking ugly,may soften your expressions a bit.

Another effective method can be by imagining being in the company of the same person with whom you are enraged. Hit him as hard and as many times as you want. Now visualize that there are three buckets of mud, chilled water and honey,each. Start emptying the buckets one by one on his head in any order you like. Once the buckets are emptied , convince yourself that he has been punished enough, let go of the anger and chuckle.
